India day


The India Association of North Texas is celebrating India’s Republic day by hosting the 43rd Annual India Day Celebration, a fun filled event of songs and dances from various parts of India, performed by very enthusiastic local artists of a varying of ages. It is celebrated to commemorate India’s Republic Day, the day on which the Constitution of India came into force. It is one of the three National holidays in India.

The India Association takes great pride in celebrating this occasion by showcasing the talents and cultural performances of over 1100 participants from the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex. The event helps the general community learn about India and its vast culture and history.

Key points for Choreographers:

  • Download and thoroughly review the Choreographer Guideline and the Liability Waiver and Media Consent forms.
  • All entries need to be registered at the Registration portal by January 26th, 2019
  • Music, Waiver forms, Costume pictures and Group picture (preferably with costumes needs to be ready to be uploaded by January 19th, 2019. We will update this page with an appropriate link.
  • Minimum 10 participants per performance
  • Each participant must be at least 6 yrs of age
  • Each performance should not exceed 4 minutes 30 seconds
  • No Live Performances. Only performances with pre-recorded music will be accepted
  • All participants must be IANT members, including choreographers, assistants and performers. Click below to begin your membership.
