The India Association of North Texas is celebrating India’s Republic day by hosting the 45th Annual India Day Celebration, a fun filled event of songs and dances from various parts of India, performed by very enthusiastic local artists of a varying of ages. It is celebrated to commemorate India’s Republic Day, the day on which the Constitution of India came into force. It is one of the three National holidays in India.

The India Association takes great pride in celebrating this occasion by showcasing the talents and cultural performances of over 1100 participants from the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex. The event helps the general community learn about India and its vast culture and history.

If you enjoy Indian Classical music, Bollywood dances, or simply want to learn about India’s rich heritage, this is the one event you cannot miss.

Key points for Choreographers:

  • All entries need to be registered by January 10th, 2022
  • Music, Waiver forms, Costume pictures and Group picture (preferably with costumes needs to be uploaded to the dropbox by Januarty 17th, 2022
  • Minimum 8 participants per performance
  • Each participant must be at least 6 yrs of age
  • Each performance should not exceed 4 minutes 30 seconds
  • All participants must be IANT members, including choreographers and assistants

EmCee Opportunity

India Association would to thank you all EmCees who make these events a Grand Success. IANT encourages High School and College students to showcase EmCeeing Skills. All students are awarded 8 hours of Volunteer hours. We can officially verify your service hours with X2VOL, tracitforward, servicehour-scouting or any similar app. Have your School Admin forward the link and we will certify your hours.

To receive Participant Certificates we encourage individuals to enter their full name on signup sheet. One could signup for more than one slot.
