President's Message

Sushma Malhotra

President, 2024

Greetings to all and wishing you a very Happy 75th Republic Day of India!

On behalf of the 2024 team of the India Association of North Texas (IANT), I wish you and your family a Happy and Prosperous New Year!

The main celebration of Republic Day takes place in the capital, New Delhi, featuring a grand parade that showcases the strength of the country's military, its cultural diversity, and its remarkable achievements, culminating in the unfurling of the national flag by the President of India.

India Day 2024 hosted by IANT on January 27th, provides a platform for the community to celebrate the diversity, cultural heritage, and spirit of unity that binds our nation, serving as a showcase for sharing these common values with our neighbors and friends in North Texas.

India Association of North Texas was established in 1962 by S. Iqbal Singh Sekhon, with the aim of providing a platform to our community to fulfill its needs and goals of cultural and social engagement.
